So without any further delay– let’s get into the blog huh?
As you all may know already, or if you don’t know, I am a VIP. I am a huge fan of BigBang and YG Entertainment. In my previous blog about BTS, I did give background information so if you do not know who BTS, please check out my previous blog.
Even though I am a VIP, I truly appreciate music of every kind and that includes other kpop groups. BTS is my little sister’s favorite group so of course we take turns playing the music around the house LOL…well, it has been a while since I took a vacation, so I got my friends together and we flew out to LA. From there, we flew out to Canada to see BTS at the FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton Canada. We were pretty much winging this entire vacation so we just went with the flow.
This isn’t my first BTS concert but it was my first BTS in Canada. The show was on Saturday, September 22nd at 6pm but I had to go to the venue early (around 9am) to wait in line to get merchandise for my little sister. Yes, I’m that kind, cool older sister! LOL…The line for merch was crazy. I was in line before the merch even opened and was waiting for 3 hours to get the version 3 light stick for my little sister.
Usually before the day of the concert, I will get nervous because that’s when reality is starting to hit you, like “DAMN, I am really going to see them live. I am really going to see my favorite song be performed live which I never thought will ever happen to me”. But for some reason, for the entire trip, I was not getting nervous at all. Once we were inside the venue, like every other concert, before the show begins, the music videos are being played. Already, you can feel the energy of the Armys building and building up. One thing that always gets to me at concerts are the fan chants. So as I continue to hear the fan chanting and singing along, I can feel the butterflies developing. Check out my Instagram video

Final Talk
Answer: Love myself
Another performance that got to me was Magic Shop. The reason that this got to me was the way the fans sang alongside them. Check out my Instagram video here. The look on J-Hope’s face when he sang along with his killer smile can kill you in an instant. Watch the video until the end, because the part that got to me is the fans. This is another key piece of evidence that Music has NO LANGUAGE BARRIER. People from all over the world with different backgrounds can come together as one and sing this beautiful song…that is something so powerful.
The performance that probably took my breath away was the performance of Answer: Love Myself. Not only is this song so powerful with an amazing meaning, it was the finale song. It was a great way to wrap up the concert and reiterate the message to the fans all over the world.
