There are a total of 11 rooms that you can choose and book from (this includes Mr. G-Dragon’s personal room Crayon). Each room has their own pricing. Depending on if it is the “Low Season” or “High Season”, prices are subject to change otherwise they do stay the same. Be sure to check out the website before booking for the most up to date pricing. There are a few ways that you can take to get to the Dongseoul Bus Terminal. Since we were staying in Hongdae, we departed from the Greenline (line 2) from Hongik Univ. Station and got off at Gangbyeon Station. It was about a 35 minute subway ride (they are about 18 stations apart from each other. From here, we exited out of exit 4 and went across the street to the Dongseoul Bus Terminal. Inside the terminal is where you would buy the ticket to Ildong. The bus ride is an hour long and it will be the first stop that you will need to get off at. The bus station looks different now then the picture below (the picture below was from August 2014. I was just there again in August 2015 and the bus station in Ildong has changed). From here, you will go inside the bus station and use the pay phone inside to call to Dolce Vita for a pickup. The pay phone is about 100 won or so (we deposited two 100 wons to make the call).
How to get to Get back: When it is time for you to leave the beautiful Dolce Vita, Appa Kwon or the staff will bring you back to the Ildong Bus Terminal (where you were originally picked up). There is a little shop (it is almost hidden if you don't look for it. It is in-between the stores) where you can buy the bus ticket back (buy the bus ticket back for Dongseoul. After you get your ticket, you will walk towards the main road (it is across the street from the Ildong bus terminal) where you will wait for the bus to come and pick you up. From here, you will enjoy the hour long ride back to Dongseoul and once back at the Dongseoul bus station, you will just go back in reverse. My Memories: My birthday and GD’s birthday are only three days apart. So going to Dolce Vita was truly a birthday gift within itself for me. Not only were we able to celebrate G-Dragon’s birthday with fellow VIPs, we also celebrated mine birthday. Upon arriving at the bus terminal, we met fellow VIPs who were also going to Dolce Vita and we all quickly became friends. I have heard from other VIPS that usually the staff will come pick them up at the terminal but lucky for us, the person who picked us up was no other than G-Dragon’s APPA himself…Appa Kwon. This man was the sweetest ever and he was very accommodating and truly tried to make everyone feel welcomed. The staff at Dolce Vita was also the best. One of the female staff & I got close over the days I stayed there and she even told me to I have to call her “Unnie” (older sister) from now on. All my memories there were all amazing. My friends and I became good friends with all the other fellow VIPs who were staying at Dolce Vita during the same time as us. We all hung out and ate together like one family. Even after our departures from Dolce Vita (each of us left differently from each other) we all kept in touch. From Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore and USA, we are all still in touch til this day. Dolce Vita did not only give my fangirl side the happiness it was desiring but it also gave me lifetime long friends & family. |
