Long time so see or talk. How is everyone doing? I am doing pretty good on my end. I’m just checking in to see what is new with my readers. I apologize for being a way for so long. Life happens, and time doesn’t wait for anyone. I will try harder to keep in touch with you guys so much more and try to update more often.
Well this blog is about my skin care routine since I have been asked. I have oily skin and suffer form acne. My skin was bad enough where I was going to see the dermatologist for help. But it seems like no matter what I did, my skin was not happy with me at all. When I was in Korea, I learned a lot from everyone on their skin routine, so I started doing my research. I began asking my friends in Korea for help and steps that they follow and what kind of products they use.
I was directed to this amazing website called “Soko Glam” (this is not a sponsor blog and all the items I purchased was with my own money) where they already have sets created for you. I have oily skin so Soko Glam had a Korean Beauty 10-Step for Oily Skin. I have listed my steps below:
My Morning Skin Care Routine:
- Oil Cleanse
- Foam Cleanse
- Toner
- Essence
- Serums
- Eye Cream
- Moisturizer
- Sun Screen
My Night Skin Care Routine:
- Oil Cleanse
- Foam Cleanse
- Exfoliation (2-3 times a week)
- Toner
- Essence
- Serums
- Sheet Mask
- Eye Cream
- Moisturizer
- I will change to a Sleep Pack about 3 times a week instead of Moisturizer
I use my Serum Moisturizer spray throughout the day. I will spray my face and follow it up with my sun screen. Even on the cloudiest day, I still use my sun screen. Each sun screen is different. I use the one that controls sebum. I do reapply sun screen every two hours or so or a few minutes before I know that I am about to go outside (I am a smoker and yes, I know that it is bad for me). After doing this for about 3 months, yes you must allow time for things to work, I noticed a difference. My skin felt so much smoother and my acne scars were slowly fading. So, there you have it everyone. My skin routine is the Korean 10 Beauty step and I’m loving it. I know that it may take a lot of time to do at the end of the day or even in the beginning of the day but trust me, it is all worth it!
