My hotel was literally across the street from the Honda Center so I was able to see everything that was taking place. I heard the set up from the crews and the sound check. On the day of the concert, I was early and was in line waiting for my spot. I was the first person in line and soon after that, the line began to grow. I was with some friends so we took turns saving our spot while we took restroom breaks and whatnot.
The time came and we were allowed to go inside for the sound check party. The crowd for the VIP pit wasn't that big so we were all pretty close when BigBang came out to do their rehearsal. I’m not the type to get star struck but I was completely amazed at how handsome they were in real life…photos do them no justice!! No makeup and messy hair, the boys: G-Dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P, Daesung and Seungri were still flawless. They ran through their songs and did their mic check and back outside we went to wait for the actual start of the concert.
After waiting a few more hours, it was finally time. We proceed inside the Honda center and ran into our spots…I was literally in the front up to the barricade. While every fan was starting to come in and find their seats and spots, I was looking around. I was inside the VIP pit so I couldn't have any phone or anything but I had friends who were able to take pictures for me.
Slowly, the lights begin to dim and the waves of the yellow light sticks glowed. Among the dark sea of the VIP fandoms, the dancing light sticks took my breath away! The introduction began to play and slowly BigBang came out. The entire show was beyond amazing. The dances, the costumes…everything was fantastic.
YouTube and fancams are a blessing but to actually experience it in real life, it is beyond words!! If you haven’t, I would really recommend you going to a concert and experiencing it all first hand. It will change your life…it truly changed mine.
Not only did I get to see BigBang Live…I got to meet new friends, built the VIP fandom family and made plenty of memories.
